A Peculiar Theology by Daniel Pitton -
This paper is a personal theology, whose writing was triggered
by the astounding claims of hidden content in the Bible as made
by Michael Drosnin, in his book, The Bible Codes. Although many
of those original celebrated claims have since been proven false,
the gist of Drosnin's assertion remains as one of the very profoundly
challenging scientific curiosities extant. The paper was originally
started as a book review on the topic of bible codes in general.
It became however, a theory of cosmology when long held beliefs
converged into an analysis of the basic theological ideas of
omnipotence. Tying together the religious idea of unlimited
power with the cosmological ideas of reality, time and physics,
thus forged the tenets of Reverse Threads Orchestration, whose
basic explanation is presented in a series of simplified concepts
meant to lead the reader into a greater understanding and appreciation
of the attributes of the entity we refer to as God.
RTO
is simply a unified field theory in the realm of religious belief;
one that attempts explanation of the role each of us plays in
the grand sweep of history; the impact of moral decisions we
all constantly make, the notion of consequence and the idea
of poetic justice. How these ethical concepts map to a physical
universe, having meta-physical properties operating far beyond
what we perceive as natural or even instinctual, is an area
of study that fascinates many and has moved the author to commit
to paper, what he believes is really happening.
